Residential Property Adjusting, Inc. (RPA) is a small and tight knit independent adjusting firm. Unlike other firms that spread themselves across the country, we prefer to be the best at what we do here in our own back yard. We currently only work with residential properties in Connecticut, Rhode Island, and parts of southern Massachusetts. The owners and and contractors with RPA have previously worked with some of the largest Independent Adjusting Firms in the country. However, it became clear that despite the feverish efforts of these industry giants, they could not solve the one problem that continually plagued them: providing the market with consistent quality in a timely manner. These larger firms are unable to meet the changing and often varying needs of customers, nor deliver a quality and uniform product throughout their wide-ranging service areas. Their swarming sales teams promise the world for bargain prices, which always results in excessive file loads for their adjusters, ensuring unreliable service and poor quality.
We know and understand that this is a failed and hopeless business model. We also believe that it’s impossible to deliver a product with consistent quality over a large territory. This is why we concentrate on delivering an exceptional product within a reasonable territory from a single office. We are serving insurers who recognize that saving a few dollars on adjustment expense while risking overpayment on indemnity is no bargain.
As you may have already noticed, we are focused exclusively on Residential Property claims and/or estimating. This allows us to keep up with all the industry changes, new technologies, policy language, and the various skills necessary to be the very best residential property adjusters. We have worked thousands of claims ranging from the most simple water stains to complex house fires. We are proficient with and use Xactimate 28 and the latest version of Simsol. Many of our adjusters are HAAG certified, Flood Certified with FEMA, and carry various insurance designations such as AIC, CPCU, AIM, and others. We are licensed in Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Texas. Our team has extensive experience with large loss house fires, wind and hail losses, vandalism and theft damages, claims at vacant properties, and the ever common winter ice damming.
